Cholesterol is a naturally occurring fat-like substance that the body needs to function optimally. Within the body, there are different types of cholesterol, some are beneficial and others harmful for the body. The harmful type, known as Low-Density Lipoproteins (LDL Cholesterol) or bad cholesterol, can lead to artery blockages and potentially severe heart conditions. LDL Cholesterol tends to accumulate and create plaque in artery walls. On the other hand, the beneficial type, called High-Density Lipoproteins (HDL Cholesterol), helps manage the levels of bad cholesterol in the bloodstream.
Certain nutrients and plant extracts are beneficial in the balance of good cholesterol and bad cholesterol. Colestroforte® contains key Nutrients, Amino Acids and Herbs to help contribute to a healthy blood circulation and heart.
